Maumee
After
the battle of Fallen Timbers, a town plat was laid out in 1817 and within a
few years, Maumee was gaining recognition as an important trans-shipment point
between East and West.
Come visit some of our excellent historical sites. Maumee is the home of
Fort Miamis, the Wolcott House, and the Fallen Timbers Battleground, just to
name a few.
